The Nepal-US AI Hackathon is a virtual, collaborative event bringing together Nepali students, developers, and professionals based in the US to build impactful AI-driven solutions for real-world challenges.

Anyone of Nepali origin living in the US with an interest in AI: students, developers, researchers can apply. Beginners are welcome!

Not necessarily! We welcome participants from diverse backgrounds and all skill levels.

It’s fully virtual to support cross-border collaboration and accessibility.

It’s a 48-hour online hackathon held from August 22–24, 2025 (ET). You’ll join virtually, collaborate in teams, build an AI-powered solution, and submit your project within the timeframe. Live sessions, mentor support, and judging will all happen online.

Teams should have 3–5 members.

Yes. You may participate in teams of up to 5. However, each applicant must fill out the form individually.
